This is a rare 2012 Multiac Jazz SA in a natural finish with an ebony fingerboard.
While the solid spruce top evokes the classic full-acoustic guitars of yesteryear, Godin's unique approach to preventing feedback during live performances is evident. It features a magnetic GJN1 mini-humbucker pickup in the neck position, an RMC custom piezo pickup on the bridge saddle, and a guitar synthesizer converter, delivering a triple-sound!
The output is a mix of piezo and magnetic at the bridge, with a slide volume control for the piezo and a volume control on the body top for the magnetic pickup.
The Electric output only outputs from the magnetic pickup.
The GK output outputs from the GR-55, etc., for magnetic, piezo, and GR pickups.
It features a 3-band EQ for the piezo (with a mid-range selector switch).
The mini-humbucker produces a very rich, jazzy sound without excessive low-end.
The moderately blended piezo pickup delivers a clear sound with excellent attack and crisp picking response.
There is some fret wear on the 1st and 2nd strings, and while the guitar has been very carefully maintained, there are signs of use commensurate with its age, hence the reduced price.
